SPECIAL COMMITTEES

Our special committees are composed of members, experts and leaders tasked with leading specific affairs of the council. The committees engage in discussions, knowledge sharing and making recommendations to the council on issues that impact the lives of British Afghans in Britain and across the globe.

ECONOMIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE


The economic committee is tasked with bringing the British Afghan business community together ito trade, invest and do business with each other, and the world.

WOMEN AFFAIRS COMMITTEE


Thecommittee is tasked with putting issues that affect Afghan women at the heart of the congress, ensuring gender equality, balanced representation and leadership.

POLITICAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE


The political affairs committee is responsible for the relations of the council with Houses of Parliament, Political Parties, Royal Family and diplomatic missions.

ART & CULTURE COMMITTEE


The committee works to preserve the art and cultural heritage of British Afghans, and promoting it to highlight its contributions to modern civilisation.

EDUCATION COMMITTEE


The education committee is tasked with bringing British Afghan intellectuals and educationalists together to ensure our people are driven by art, science and technology not dogmas.

SPORTS COMMITTEE


The sports committee is tasked with bringing British Afghan sportsmen together to inspire our future generations, promoting their talents and ensuring their involvement in representing the nation.

HEALTH COMMITTEE


The health committee is tasked with ensuring the health issues of the British Afghan community are identified, brought to national attention and dealt with accordingly to ensure community wellbeing.

LEGAL COMMITTEE


The legal affairs committee is responsible for advising the council on legal issues of the organisation and its members regarding human rights, business, immigration and criminal law.

YOUTH & STUDENTS COMMITTEE


The youth and students committee is responsible for advising the council on issues affecting our youth, their development and access to opportunities.

PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMITTEE


The public relations committee is responsible for building, protecting and promoting the reputation British Afghans in era of growing misinformation.
